“Innovation in Australia by Ben Kehoe captures the spirit of The Lucky Country by Donald Horne.

His thesis that Australian’s are overwhelmingly preoccupied with lifestyle and recreation as a result of our natural endowments, and he argues that business (with the government) must play a more significant leadership role if we are to fulfil our great potential as a nation.

It is a timely message given the COVID and our current economic circumstance. Australia is at a choice point. He proposes some thoughtful initiatives which will contribute to “shaping our future.”

In my view, it is the best read since the Lucky Country!!
